RNC says DNC involved in Rathergate?

Yesterday, First Lady Laura Bush became the first White House insider to suggest that the CBS memos were forgeries.

Today, the Democrats unveiled Fortunate Son, a roughly three minute video accusing Bush of taking special favors and serving dishonorably in the Air National Guard.

The GOP response?

Washington, DC -- RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke made the following statement today:

"The video the Democrats released today is as creative and accurate as the memos they gave CBS.”

Did the RNC just accuse the DNC of complicity with fraud?

If I had to guess, I'd say this was a casual, off-the-cuff comment... and possibly an ill-advised one, if it was made without evidence.
